A traditional parkland course, established in 1897 in the heart of Surrey with its tree lines fairways and panoramic views, Dorking Golf Club is a great golfing venue. The course enjoys excellent drainage allowing full use of main greens and trolleys all year round.

WHY JOIN A GOLF CLUB?
As a member you can play in competitions, hold a handicap, introduce friends at the 'Members guest rate', enjoy club social events and play during weekend mornings if you are a 7 day member. Visitors may not tee off until 2pm on a Saturday and 12 noon on a Sunday. Members are also entitled to reduced Greenfees** at over 280 courses in Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Dorset, Essex and Bedfordshire.

GENTLEMEN'S 5 & 7 DAY
A range of memberships are available from the occasional golfer through to the competitive weekend match player. A variety of competitions are organised throughout the week and weekend allowing members to participate in a competitive round of golf or enjoy a social game at their leisure. A prestigious opportunity allows members to represent the Club in the Surrey County Golf Union, Kelso Hamilton and Surrey 5's competitions along with a host of other regular inter-club competitions. A qualifying competition is played every Friday on an all day roll-up basis along with regular weekend competitions allowing players the opportunity to reduce their handicap.

LADIES' 5 AND 7 DAY
Our ladies section have a choice of organised events during the week including a friendly roll-up competition on Monday afternoons, a competitive round of golf during a Ladies Wednesday morning or joining in with Business Ladies competition on a Saturday morning. Ladies have the opportunity to enter Dorking club matches as well as inter-club matches during the week and weekend-whilst still allowing plenty of time to enjoy the course on a social basis with family and friends. We also have an active Bridge section that meets on a Monday morning – please also see social membership.

JUNIOR
For those aged 15-18. An ever increasing category, competitions are held in the school holidays actively encouraging natural progression through to transitional membership and ultimately full adult membership.

ASSOCIATES
A new membership category allowing full use of the course on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays and from 1pm on Mondays and Wednesdays this is ideal for a beginner or a social midweek golfer. It is available to all new members and to those existing 5 day members over the age of 70. All members who have full 7 day membership must complete one calendar year as a five day member before they can apply to this category, subject to availability. An associate member is not permitted to play in competitions or hold a club handicap.

ELDERS
The Elders section enables the over 55's to participate in competitive competitions twice a week on Monday and Friday with the added benefit of a sociable roll up on a Wednesday afternoon. All elders are welcome to enjoy a friendly round during the week except for Wednesday mornings. There is also the exciting opportunity to play at some of the counties leading golf clubs when taking part in the Elders club matches.
