Since 1947 Surrey County Golf Union (SCGU) has organised a County Card Scheme to give Club members an opportunity to play other Surrey Clubs at a reduced green fee. The scheme has since been extended to include reduced green fee rates at a number of other clubs throughout the country.
The scheme is subject to specific Terms and Conditions (e.g. weekdays only, not including Bank Holidays; tees to be booked in advance using the specified procedure etc.).
In order to benefit from this schme you need to have registered with Surrey County Golf Union and have downloaded an electrobnic copy of your personalised card on to your smart phone. Please note that the cards expire on 31st December every year and you will need to renew each year.
The scheme is free to Dorking Golf Club members but you need to have a World Handicap System (WHS) registered handicap which will also provide you with a Central Database of Handicaps (CDH) registered number. This is the number you need to enter when applying for your annual electronic card.
You can find your CDH number by logging into the Dorking Golf Club member website and selecting from the Home screen MyGolf/HandicapCertificate - you can also print off your handicap certificate from this webpage.

Should you not use a smart phone, you can still apply for a physical plastic card by contacting either the Dorking Golf Club manager or the membership secretary who will contact SGU on your behalf.
