Dress Code DGC

On The Course

T-shirts, denim clothing, tracksuits, football shirts and trainers may not be worn on the course
Men may wear tailored golf shorts (not Tennis Shorts) ¾ length trousers are not permitted
All shirts must have a collar and be tucked in at all times, turtle neck shirts are allowed
Ladies may wear a sleeveless shirt but it must have a collar, sleeved shirts may be collarless
It is expected that all players will endeavor to wear ‘smart’ golf dress on the course.
All players must have their own set of golf clubs
Golf Shoes must be worn on the course at all times

In The Clubhouse

Smart casual wear may be worn in the clubhouse
Tracksuits, football shirts/shorts, dirty workwear, ripped demin and excessive logos are NOT PERMITTED
Golf Shoes (even soft studded shoes) may only be worn in the Stud Bar or on the patio

Mobile Telephones

Players are requested to carry their phones turned off with the Clubhouse number stored in the memory 01306 886917 in the event of an emergency. An exception will be made for Doctors on call, please make sure that you inform your playing partners

Dogs On The Course

Members Only are permitted to bring along a dog on a lead during Off Peak golfing times, All day Tue & Thu, from 12 noon on Mon, Wed, Fri & Sun and from 2pm on Saturdays at the club, if there is a Club Match during these times, dogs are permitted after the match has finished. The dog must be well behaved and quiet at all times and all dog mess must be removed by the owner. The Club will monitor the dogs behaviour and if it is deemed that a nuisance is being caused then it may be necessary to ask that the owner does not bring along the dog in future.
